I am not a date setter. The Word is clear that no man knows the hour wherein the Son of Man cometh. The precise moment we cannot know but the signs of the times are everywhere. Here are some that are evident in the Word.

12. Jews accepting Jesus (Rom. 11:25-26)

The signs are clear. The end is near! Let us look up for our redemption draweth near.

The End of the Age

As the end of the age rapidly approaches expect a Master of Deception to arise. Satan has always had his legions in various roles of deception. The end of the age will be no exception. The stage is set for the rise of the anti-christ. This charismatic personality will appear on the scene soon. He will completely captivate the populace of the world that they will follow him wherever he suggests. His captivating eloquence will convince the world of his credibility. There is an interesting contrast between the Christ and the anti-christ. Here it is:

THE PROPHECY PORTAL: Second Coming of the Messiah

Down through the years Orthodox Jewish Rabbis have pointed out the coming of the Messiah after three signs are in place! Here they are:
One - Automobile traffic jams in Jerusalem with accidents occurring with frequency! Driving at high rates of speed with no regard for others. Brilliant head lights and taillights lighting up the night. - Nahum 2:3-4
Two - Ariel defenses in place. For hundreds of years Jerusalem has been a beleaguered city overrun by one gentile power after another. In 1917 the city was under the control of the nation of Turkey. As England's General Allenby marched into the city with his troops newly built airplanes flew overhead. When the turks saw men flying as birds they dropped their weapons and fled with out a shot being fired. The consistent flying of jets overhead is a fulfillment of Isaiah 31:5.
Three - A fertile and productive land - when the nation of Israel was established in 1948 it was a dry, barren, rocky area of the world. God had said, however, "that it would blossom as the rose." Today it has been wondrously transformed into miles of fertile land producing lush vegetation predicted in Isaiah 35:1

THE PROPHECY PORTAL: Israel in Prophecy

1. Repeated disobedience on the part of Israel would cause God to scatter them among the nations of the world. (Deuteronomy 28:64, Leviticus 26:33, Jeremiah 9:16 and Ezekial 12:15)

2. They would have no rest for their souls while in exile (Deuteronomy 28:65-66). For nearly 2000 years after the destruction in AD 70 they lived without a homeland. Then in 1948 they were restored as a nation in one day. (Isaiah 66:8)

3. From all the nations of the world God restored the Jews to the land of Israel (Jeremiah 16:14-16, Jeremiah 3:14, Amos 9:15)

4. The land would blossom and be fruitful as Israel took possession.It had been desolate (Zechariah 7:14). As God put his hand on the nation the people put their hand on the land and it began to produce (Isaiah 35:1-2) Currantly the nation is the single largest exporter of citrus fruit to Europe.

5. God promised to defend Israel (Zechariah 12:8).Their military might would rank them among the great nations of the world.In 1948 they defeated the combined might of the Arab legions and continue their conquests in 1956,1967 and 1973.

6. It is predicted Israel would be a burden to the entire world. (Zechariah 12:2-3) One-third of all resolutions passed by the UN have involved Israel.

7. At the end of the age all nations of the world shall came against Israel. (Zechariah 14:2, Revelation 16:14-16)

8. The last battle will be conducted against Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2) Ownership of the city is the most contested possession in all the world.

9. The establishment of a convenant of seven years between Israel and her enemies will be set up by the antichrist(Daniel 9:24) bringing peace to that troubled region. It will be but temporary as it will be broken within three and one half years.

10. Finally in the last days a pure language will be restored to Israel. Hebrew dead as a language since the days of ancient Rome is currantly being used by Israel. (Zephaniah 3:9)

THE PROPHECY PORTAL: The Anti-Christ
The stage is set. The door is open for the entrance of the anti-christ. The world is crying out for "the man". A man who will bring order out of chaos; a man who will produce economic stability; a man who will bring peace to the Middle East. Such a man is waiting in the wings. Soon he will be introduced as the savior and the world will receive him.
He has numerous identifying marks.

1. He will be a man of great charisma. {Dan. 7:20} - He will speak with such persuasiveness that the multitudes will hinge on every word. So convincing will he be that nations will fall into his plans.

2. He will be a man of great intellect. {Dan. 8:23} - Problems will be resolved readily as he proves his brilliance to the world. The most difficult items will be cared for because of his deep insight.

3. He will be a man of force. {Dan. 11:38} - He will worship at the throne of military power. His philosophy "The guys with the biggest guns and most bullets wins." He will spend whatever necessary to gain military control!

4. He will persecute Israel. {Dan. 7:25} - At first glance he will cultivate a peace agreement with the nation. Established for seven years the covenant will bring peace and security to that troubled land. Mid way through the period allotted, the anti-christ will break the covenant bringing his wrath against the people of God. Engaging in "ethnic cleansing" he will wear out the saints.

5. He will blaspheme God. {2 Thess. 2:4} - As he desecrates the temple in Jerusalem he will attempt to set himself up in the position of power. His intention to overthrow Christ as his father Satan attempted to overthrow God.

6. He will be destroyed by the coming of Christ. {2 Thess. 2:8} - Finally the "permissive will of God" will be exhausted and Christ will manifest himself. The rule of the anti-christ will end as Jesus takes the throne as King of kings and Lord of lords. He shall consume and destroy the anti-christ in one final battle!

Hallelujah He wins and we do too!

THE PROPHECY PORTAL: The Culmination of the age

"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:28

Bible Scholars everywhere are declaring that ‘signs of the times’ are pointing to the culmination of the age. Jesus is about ready to translate the church to the heavenly realm! Here are some Biblical signs pointing to that great event!

First is the birth of a nation. Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948. It had been predicted by the prophet [Isaiah 66:8]. It happened just as he said,

Secondly there is a shocking moral decline. In the current generation anything goes. We are without moral standards [II Tim. 3:3a] It is no longer Adam and Eve but Adam and Fred. We have come to the place where any kind of sexual behavior is considered as an alternate life style. It has happened just as Paul predicted!

Thirdly our world is plagued by famines, violence ad wars. One of six people on the planet suffer from hunger; violence is epidemic and over 100 conflicts have developed since 1990. It is happening just as Jesus said, [Matt. 24:6-8]

Fourthly there has been a dramatic increase in earthquakes worldwide [Matt. 24:7]. During the 1940’s there were 51 above the Richter scale of 6:0. In the 1990’s earthquakes occurred at the rate of 1,514. It has happened just as Jesus predicted.

Fifthly one of the most amazing predictions came from the pen of Daniel the prophet when he declared "Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." [Dan. 12:4] Advances in air travel and computer technology boggle the mind. It has happened just as Daniel said!

Sixtly as Paul predicted we have a form of godliness but have denied the power! [II Tim. 3:5] Like Samson of old we are going through the motions. Hear Samson as he declared "I will go out as at other times before and shake myself. And he wist not that the Lord was departed from him!" [Judges 16:20] Multitudes are going through the motions and will miss the returns of the Lord Jesus.

These are but some of the reasons we anticipate His return. Why not join me in preparing for His coming. It could be today for our redemption is drawing nigh!

THE PROPHECY PORTAL: 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse   
Let us take another trip into the Prophecy Portal! In Rev. 6 Jesus shows us another aspect of Judgment powered out or as a Christ rejecting world! The opening of the seal reveals the coming wrath of God!

The real represents the authenticity of the scrolls contents. it represents the security of the contents as long as it remains unbroken. As the Lamb breaks the seal God's plan begins to unfold!

There is a revelation of four horses. The first id described as white. Many theologians declare it represents Christ but not so, for Christ is the lamb opening the seal. It is my contention that the rider is the Anti-Christ. He comes first as a diplomat with military lacking hence a bow with no arrow; he has a crown which was given him. God grants him limited power to captivate and control the minds of men!

The second horse is red symbolizing death and destruction! Wide spread war will break out. The Anti-Christ will bring multitudes to their knees through military forces. For God will grant power to take peace from the earth. His military supremacy will overwhelm earth’s populace. That is clearly seen in the great sword granted him. John tell us to watch for this great diplomat and military strategist.

The third horse revealed when the seal is broken is a black horse - It represents the Anti-Christ as an Economist extraordinaire! He has a set of scales in his hand. Inflation is at an all time high. A quart of wheat is costing a days wages; three quarts of barley has a similar cost! The poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer for they are cautioned not to hurt the oil and the wine. Economic disaster is on the horizon and at that point the Anti-Christ introduces the mark which will be the only means of buying and selling! Those who reject the mark will face disastrous consequences.

The pale horse makes its entrance bringing with him death. Most writers agree that pestilence will prevail at this time! It has been stated in the last ten years 30 new diseases have made themselves felt on the earth! The corroding and decaying of flesh will be evident.

It's putrefying stench will cover the land as a thick blanket! Combined with warfare throughout the world one quarter of the total population will die and be cast into Hell!

Four judgments are coming; The sword [military might], Hunger [famine], Pestilence [death], and the beasts of the earth [carnivore]. Judgment is Coming! All will be there! Avoid is at all cost!

THE PROPHECY PORTAL:  He's Got Your Number!

It has been Satan's intensions from the beginning that he knows all about us! He is second only to God in his unique ability to read us inside and out.

In a classic novel it was written "Big Brother is watching you." In other words the author knew all about those with whom he was dealing. He sees us as we are!

In God's word there is a prediction that in the end of the age Satan would implant a mark in every man and woman who paid him allegiance. It would be the mark of a man KKK! Any provision for food, drink and commerce would be provided for by the virtue of identifying mark!

Currently we are identified by our social security and driver's license. Recently DNA became a substantial identifying marks!

Now there is the treat of a microchip implant under the skin. Approved by the food and drug administration for as in humans it can tell doctor of medical conditions prevailing and buy a round of golf at the local club!

The size of a long grain of rice it can be implanted anywhere in the body but mainly in the triceps! It contains a 16 digit ID linking the recipient to a secure computer base!

Watch out we are in the end of the age and "big brother is watching you!"

FAITH'S REWARD
I Just Heard from God today and He said, "And many that believed came......." Acts 19:18
The Leper believed and he came. Jesus rewarded his faith and cleansed him. The four friends of the paralyzed man believed and they came bringing him to Jesus! He rewarded their faith and healed him. The woman at the well believed and came and He rewarded her faith forgiving her every sin!

Again and again those whose faith reached out to Christ were rewarded. Andrew believed and came brining Simon Peter his brother. His faith was rewarded as Christ included Simon in the kingdom!

Following the resurrection the disciples believed and came! They gathered in the upper room where they tarried for ten days. During that time differences were resolved; resentments were forgiven and consecrations were completed. They believed and came to Jesus and He rewarded their faith sending the Holy Ghost. Faith made the difference and it always does!

I WAS THINKING......

I Just Heard From God Today And He Said,
"Think on these things..." Phil. 4:8

I was thinking that if our homes were 'Havens of Rest' rather than places of bitterness and wrangling that we would have far less delinquency among our young people.

That is less pornography and obscenity were broadcast over our television and shown on our newsstands that the incidences of rape, sexual abuse and incest would dramatically drop.

That if drug pushers were given stiffer penalties instead of a slap on the wrist that the rate of drug addiction would decrease quickly.

I was thinking that if our churches showed greater friendliness and enthusiasm that the congregations would increase in size overnight.

That if we didn't sneeringly say "The devil made me do it" taking his power lightly we wouldn't be apt to fall so tragically.

That if we didn't question the authenticity and credibility of the bible we would much more readily accept its guidance.

That if we were not so 'narrow minded' we would much more readily accept or at least consider the viewpoints of others.

That if we as children of God were more Christ-like those who look on us would be less likely to say 'If that's religion I sure don't want it!'

I was thinking you and I could put 'shoes' to our prayers if we took these things seriously and did whatever necessary to make needed changes. Come on church let us rise up and be counted!
